This multilayer system of aquifers is essentially recharged by infiltration and by groundwater of the Continental Intercalaire aquifer, but the increase of groundwater pumping for irrigation for tens of years has induced a serious decrease of groudwater levels and springs depletion. A multidisciplinary study was carried out in order to better understand the behaviour of oasien ecosystems and aquifer system and to provide tools and recommendations for the management of wáter resources %G French %2 https://brgm.hal.science/hal-01529221/document %2 https://brgm.hal.science/hal-01529221/file/VERNOUX_Jeffara_Gabes_fulltext_v1.pdf %L hal-01529221 %U https://brgm.hal.science/hal-01529221 %~ BRGM %~ GIP-BE
